splurge vs bargain - eyeshadow eddition

Being a girl who loves makeup having a beautiful collection of eye shadows palettes is definitely a must have and I'm sure other girls who love makeup as much as I do could agree.
The most recent popular palettes that every girl is dying to get their hands on is the morphe 350 palette and the urban decay naked collection they are beautiful well pigmented palettes that are also really pricey! The morphe 350 palette sells on their website for 22$ (I know what you're thinking 22$ isn't expensive at all) but morphe is an American company their only location is in California and their products don't sell in Sephora and they also don't ship internationally so after paying the price of the palette and the shipping fees this palette will cost you almost 70$. Don't be fooled the urban decay naked collection isn't any less expensive considering it sells in sephoras the naked
collection has 3 platelets with beautiful colors, to look good with any skin tone you are. Each palette is around 56$. Both super stunning palettes but both are super pricey which is why I was excited when I found a palette similar to the urban decay naked 2 Palette.

The nudes by maybeline is practically identical to the urban decay naked 2 palette, same beautiful colors for a price way cheaper than the other one, this product sells for 9$ at any drug store and works just as well. it's easy to apply the only downside about this palette is it isn't as pigmented as the naked platelets therefore you'd have to apply more of the product to get better results. Using a primer before applying is highly recommended to keep the eye shadow looking flawless all day without fading.

  1. I have always been very interested in the art of makeup, but especially eye makeup (eye liner, mascara, eyeshadow etc.) Your blog really helped me learn more about it and how you can basiaclly get the same exact product for a insanely more reasonable price. I really enjoyed reading this blog, it taught me how to not waste my money but still get a good product. Thanks so much Oshawn!!

  2. Love how you compare prices. Prices really do matter, especially when you're on a budget. Makeup is an art and you seem to know a lot about it. Love you're blog and love how you go about it. Great blog!
